AREAS OF FOCUS
Many of the clients I work with come to therapy wanting to better understand themselves and the changes happening in their lives. This may look like exploring identity and culture, navigating new independence in college, adjusting to shifts in relationships, or feeling unsure of the next step. Often, clients share a lingering sense of not being “good enough,” despite having worked hard and accomplished more than they realize.
I believe therapy is a collaborative and organic process. As your therapist, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, deepen self-awareness, and make meaning in ways that feel authentic to you. My approach is strength-based, holistic, and informed by DBT, with an emphasis on meeting you where you are.
Together, we focus on recognizing the small wins along the way and taking manageable, meaningful steps forward. Even the smallest step is still progress. I find it deeply rewarding to witness clients develop insight, reconnect with their strengths, and arrive at conclusions that support greater confidence, clarity, and fulfillment.
Clients often leave therapy with a stronger sense of who they are, increased trust in their choices, and tools to navigate change with intention. I welcome the opportunity to support you as you move toward growth, self-understanding, and a more balanced relationship with yourself.
