AREAS OF FOCUS
Healing often starts with a safe space and a good conversation—think of our sessions as a place to catch your breath and connect, much like meeting a friend for coffee or tea. I strive to help quiet the loud, negative external narratives that have shaped your life. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space where you feel empowered to take hold of the pen and rewrite your story—one that truly feels like yours.
Working from a person-centered, narrative, trauma-informed, and attachment-based lens, I believe every experience you have navigated—both joyful and challenging—contributes to the resilient person you are today. My passion is rooted in my own life experiences and a clinical background in hospital and school settings, where I’ve supported individuals and families through substance use, depression, anxiety, and more. I also enjoy working with couples, utilizing Gottman and EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) to create a dedicated space for partners to communicate, heal, and reconnect.
I also am dedicated to creating a supportive space for women’s health. As a doula and therapist, I am passionate about holding space for the profound transition into motherhood—supporting you through the mental and emotional complexities of pregnancy and the postpartum period. Beyond motherhood, I am committed to providing a dedicated space for all women to feel nurtured and seen as they navigate the unique challenges of womanhood at every stage.
As a Black female therapist, I am committed to creating a space rooted in inclusivity and collective healing. I believe that true wellness is built on a foundation of personal autonomy and the courage to challenge the stigmas that often keep us silent. Together, we will honor the many layers of your identity as we work to break through generational and societal pressures. I am here to ensure that your voice is always heard, valued, and respected.
Remember that your story is yours to tell, and I’m just here to help you make sure you’re the one holding the pen.

A Few Things You Might Be Wondering
Who do you love working with and why?
I love working with ages 13+, couples, mom’s, women, and families through life’s most challenging moments. My work centers on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, major life transitions (e.g., divorce, career change, grief, becoming a mom, etc.), addiction, and relationship roadblocks (communication, lack of boundaries, lack of connection, etc). I am deeply passionate about these populations because I love witnessing the transformative power of healing. There is nothing more rewarding than helping people reconnect, repair their relationships, and choose to show up fully for each other—and themselves.
How would you describe your clinical style and preferred modalities?
I am a very chill, laid-back, and relational therapist. My work is rooted in a person-centered, narrative, and attachment-focused approaches. This means clients are the experts of their own lives. I am here to provide a safe, completely non-judgmental space for the client to share their story, peel back the layers from the very beginning, and ultimately rewrite their narrative in a way that feels genuinely good to them. When working with couples I integrate approaches from Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Together, we will address unhealthy relationship patterns, strengthen their emotional connection, and build practical communication tools that bring them closer together. When working with families I pull from systems- utilizing Bronfenbrenner and Bowen- everything is connected, it is important to understand how it works.
What sets you apart as a clinician?
Hmmm. My personal experiences and my background in inpatient care have taught me to remain unruffled in many situations, allowing me to provide a safe, stabilizing environment. I believe in true collaboration. I listen to my clients, advocate for their needs, and empower them to take the lead in their healing journey. I believe they truly are the professionals of their own lives—I am simply there to guide and equip them. I don’t consider myself a traditional therapist, I want to get in the field with my clients whatever that may look like for them.
