A Few Things You Might Be Wondering

Who do you love working with and why?
I enjoy working with clients ages 14 and older. I am especially drawn to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, academic pressure, and challenges with social skills. I also enjoy supporting clients who are exploring emotional connection, identity development, confidence building, and social relationships. I value helping clients gain insight into themselves, strengthen self-awareness, and navigate important developmental transitions.
My clinical style is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I typically integrate CBT, DBT, and ACT interventions within both individual therapy and play-based approaches when appropriate. I also incorporate creative and experiential tools such as art, crafts, games, and structured worksheets to support engagement and individualized care.

I bring a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinical approach, which allows me to support a broader range of clients and ensure accessibility in their preferred language. I also have experience collaborating and networking with outside systems and providers, including school districts (VVSD), as well as making referrals to services such as ABA, speech therapy, and occupational therapy when needed for bilingual services.

Clinically, I am driven, flexible, and goal-oriented, while also prioritizing strong rapport-building. I place a high value on creating a welcoming, culturally responsive, and supportive environment where clients feel safe, understood, and engaged in the therapeutic process.
