Lupe Blanco

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Many of the clients I work with feel like they have been carrying a lot on their own for a long time. They may be navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life transitions while also feeling pressure to always be the “strong one.” Over time, these experiences can lead to feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that are difficult to break.

As a bilingual Latina therapist, I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported in exploring these experiences. As a first-generation Latina, I understand how cultural expectations, family dynamics, and past experiences can shape the way we see ourselves and relate to others.
In my work, I focus on helping clients better understand the patterns they feel stuck in and the experiences that shaped them. Together, we work to process difficult experiences, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating to others.

I work with adolescents and adults facing challenges related to trauma, relationships, identity, and substance use. My background includes experience in community mental health, hospital-based care, and outpatient settings, where I have supported individuals with a wide range of needs—from life transitions to more complex mental health and substance use concerns.

Using evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed therapy, I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and finding the right fit is important. My goal is for clients to leave sessions with greater clarity, practical tools, and a deeper understanding of themselves—so they can feel more grounded, confident, and no longer carry everything on their own.

A Few Things You Might Be Wondering

Who do you love working with and why?

I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults from all walks of life. While I work with a variety of concerns, I have a special passion for helping individuals heal from trauma and its impact on relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and everyday life. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I enjoy helping clients process difficult experiences so they can move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and hope. I also love providing therapy in both English and Spanish, helping clients feel understood in the language they’re most comfortable speaking.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported, while also gently challenging them to grow and move toward their goals. I believe therapy is most effective when it balances compassion with accountability.

I tailor each session to the unique needs of the individual, drawing from evidence-based approaches to support meaningful and lasting change. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, develop practical tools they can use outside of therapy, and create lasting changes that align with the life they want to live.

I believe one of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship we build together. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood while also feeling supported to make meaningful change.

I don’t believe therapy is just about talking through challenges. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and work toward goals that are meaningful to you. My hope is that you leave each session with greater insight, practical tools, and the confidence to continue growing long after our work together.
