AREAS OF FOCUS

I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for your lived experience. I believe meaningful healing happens in spaces where clients feel emotionally safe, genuinely seen, and free from judgment. In our work together, I aim to create a collaborative and supportive relationship where you can better understand yourself with compassion rather than with judgement.

I work from a relational, trauma informed, and culturally-informed lens, with a strong commitment to anti-oppressive care. As a bilingual Polish American woman, I hold awareness of how culture, family systems, immigration experiences, and intergenerational patterns can shape identity, relationships, and emotional wellbeing. I strive to honor the many contexts that have influenced your story and to support you in exploring all parts of yourself with openness and care.

I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. In our sessions, we may process painful or confusing experiences, build emotional resiliency, reconnect with your values and sense of identity, and develop coping strategies that feel sustainable and aligned with your life.

My therapeutic approach integrates evidence based modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed care, always tailored to your individual needs and goals. I draw on experiences across outpatient (IOP/PHP), inpatient, residential, community mental health, and foster care settings, supporting adolescents, adults, families, and couples across a wide range of concerns.

Ultimately, my goal is to support you in feeling more grounded, more connected to yourself, and less alone in what you are carrying. Together, we can explore your internal world with care and begin to map it in a way that feels clearer, more compassionate, and more workable for your life while also building your capacity to experience and move through difficult emotions with greater steadiness and self trust.

A Few Things You Might Be Wondering

Who do you love working with and why?

I love working with individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or carrying more than they feel they can share with others. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, identity exploration, life transitions, or the lasting impact of family and cultural experiences. I am especially passionate about supporting those who have spent much of their lives being the “strong one” for others and are looking for a space where they can finally focus on themselves. I particularly enjoy working with young adults navigating the complexities of emerging adulthood, as well as adults and older adults facing transitions, relationship changes, questions of identity and purpose, or challenges that arise across different stages of life. I also enjoy working with families and couples, helping them better understand one another, strengthen communication, and navigate relational patterns with greater insight and compassion. As a first-generation Polish American woman, I value working with individuals navigating multicultural identities, immigration experiences, intergenerational dynamics, and the complexities of balancing personal needs with cultural or family expectations. I find it incredibly meaningful to witness clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, reconnect with their values, and begin relating to themselves and others with greater authenticity and self-compassion.

My clinical style is warm, relational, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel emotionally safe, genuinely seen, and free from judgment. I believe that meaningful change happens not only through learning new skills but also through developing insight into our emotional experiences, relationships, and the stories we carry about ourselves. My work is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and rooted in anti-oppressive practice. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, and attachment-based frameworks, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. While I value evidence-based interventions, I also place significant importance on the therapeutic relationship and helping clients make sense of their experiences within the broader contexts of their lives, relationships, and systems.

What sets me apart is my ability to balance deep empathy with thoughtful exploration and honest reflection. I aim to create a space where clients feel both supported and gently challenged. I am naturally curious about people’s stories and the many factors that have shaped who they are, including family dynamics, culture, systemic influences, and life experiences. As a social worker, I bring a person-in-environment perspective to my work and recognize that many struggles cannot be understood apart from the systems and contexts in which they occur. My commitment to social justice, cultural humility, and anti-oppressive practice informs how I understand both individual suffering and healing. Clients often tell me they appreciate my warmth, authenticity, and ability to help them connect patterns that may have previously felt confusing or difficult to understand. My goal is not to “fix” people, but to help them develop a deeper understanding of themselves, build capacity to navigate difficult emotions, and cultivate a more compassionate and trusting relationship with themselves.
