AREAS OF FOCUS
Do your thoughts ever feel too loud? Maybe you find yourself overthinking, struggling with anxiety or depression, questioning your purpose, feeling stuck in negative thought patterns, or wondering why you react the way you do. Perhaps you’re exhausted from people- pleasing, have difficulty setting boundaries, or feel disconnected from your own needs and voice.
As a first-generation Black American therapist, I understand how cultural, family, and systemic experiences can shape our relationships, identity, and mental health. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, gain insight into their patterns, and reconnect with their sense of agency.
My approach combines CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and relational therapy to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, existential concerns, self- esteem challenges, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Together, we’ll work to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier boundaries, strengthen self-trust, and create a life that feels more aligned with your values.
I believe healing begins when we stop judging our experiences and start understanding them. My goal is to help you quiet the noise, discover your strengths, and feel empowered to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and authenticity.

A Few Things You Might Be Wondering
Who do you love working with and why?
I love working with adults, couples and adolescents 15+ who are feeling stuck and are ready to better understand themselves. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, mood fluctuations, relationship challenges (any relationship), people-pleasing, or life transitions, I enjoy helping you make sense of what’s going on and find a path forward. Watching people gain confidence and start feeling more like themselves is one of the best parts of my job.
How would you describe your clinical style and preferred modalities?
My style is calm, warm, laid-back, and collaborative. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are without worrying about being judged. I’ll meet you where you’re at, but I’ll also challenge you when I think you’re getting in your own way. I believe growth happens when you feel both supported and accountable. I primarily use CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and Gottman Method techniques for couples, while tailoring therapy to fit your unique needs.
What sets you apart as a clinician?
I care about getting to know the person, not just the diagnosis or symptoms. I like helping people understand the “why” behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so change feels more meaningful and lasting. I’m also not a therapist who’s just going to nod along—I will call you out (with kindness and respect) when I notice patterns that are keeping you stuck. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, challenged enough to grow, and supported every step of the way
